Somewhere, a mansion rife with mystery exists, with noble Shadows and living dolls as its residents. One noble and living doll pair, Kate and Emilico, narrowly avoided taking the fall for the phantom incident that terrorized the estate’s inhabitants. However, by catching the true culprit, they’re now on the adults’ radar! And even closer scrutiny from those in power will only make it harder for Kate’s secret plans to come to fruition...

The inspection of the children’s wing begins. On the surface, the Star-bearers are hoping it ends quickly without incident.
