Finding herself entangled in the social and political drama of a fractured royal family, Yuri begins to maneuver through their manipulations and learn how to survive while stuck deep in the past.
Yuri is embroiled in a romantic tangle between Prince Kail and his half-sibling Zannanza. As Kail and Yuri fight against the armies of the Prince of Darkness, the fate of the Hittite empire hangs in the balance, as does Yuri’s chance of ever returning home.
Kail and his forces struggle to rescue Yuri from becoming one of the Prince of Darkness’s courtesans. But the rescue will not be a simple one. Plus, someone has been impersonating Yuri in her absence and dragging down her reputation among the Hittites.
Yuri is accused of a heinous crime and must go on the run. As she struggles with her ever-more-complicated feelings for Prince Kail, Yuri also finds herself embroiled in a military operation to save the Hittites.
Yuri and Kail continue to face the challenge of finding a way to protect their people without further bloodshed. At the same time, Nakia is trying to sabotage the only method that Yuri can use to ever return home.
Under the influence of Queen Nakia’s black water, Kail’s trusted commander Rusafa kidnaps Yuri. Kail launches a rescue that could ultimately also lead to the downfall of the innocent Rusafa!
Yuri and Rusafa are captured by Ramses and the Egyptian forces. While prisoners, they discover that someone in Kail’s trusted circle is actually leaking information to the Egyptians. Rusafa attempts to escape and inform Kail, but any warning could be arriving too late.
In Egypt, Yuri’s rebel forces attack and take Thebes, but Queen Nefertiti refuses to release Ramses, who remains under threat of execution. Yuri makes a daring attempt to rescue the general herself and ends up in a direct confrontation with Nefertiti.
Charged with treason, Nakia denies her guilt and, despite being confined, uses her magic to free her henchman Urhi, who is then suspected of launching a campaign of murderous retaliation against Kail and Yuri.
