Sumire Ichigaya’s got it tough. She’s drowning in debt, surrounded by noisy neighbors, fighting for discount supermarket meals, and working a dead-end job exterminating space vermin left over from a failed alien invasion. It seems like things just can’t get any worse—until she’s abducted by aliens and wakes up with a monstrous new arm and a voice in her head urging her to kill all of humanity!
Following an explosive accident, Sumire’s new life working for the Raiden Corporation has hit a bit of a road bump! Now, with her team stuck in the contaminated ruins of old Tokyo until she gets her transformation under control, she’s going to master her strange new powers (and get a raise in the process) or die trying!
After Duskin is asked to take part in the merciless testing of Sumire’s abilities, a sudden attack of conscience pits him against Kiyoharu in a seemingly unwinnable battle. But when the battle between the clearly-not-just-an-accountant and the varmint is interrupted by the arrival of a deadly new enemy with her own devastating powers, will Sumire discover the strength she needs to fight back?
All Sumire wanted was to enjoy her day off! Koharu, a young woman with powers similar to Sumire’s, is back and ready to join in the fun, but her handler’s a hotheaded thug who’s itching for a fight! With the threat of an all-out brawl building, there’s only one thing Sumire can do—settle matters with a brutal, no-holds-barred, winner-take-all game of mahjong!
Even the combined forces of Raiden and Red Rock are no match for this talking varmint looking to steal Sumire’s full-dimensional jacket! For a moment, it seems like a kaiju-fied Duskin might be able to turn the tables, but when the strange varmint unleashes an attack on par with the catastrophic power of a destroyer cannon, will anyone be able to stop it?
