K turns out to be a monstrous remnant of Fumi’s mother, and Yanagi is the despicable Suzaku leader who orchestrated this transformation! What’s worse, Yanagi is actually Fumi’s father! Fumi swears that she will destroy both Yanagi and K, but first she must learn about her mother’s past from Tsubasa…
Fumi continues to learn about her mother Kaede, who was consumed by her desire to exact revenge against the Suzaku. Even as the power of the White Queen whittled away her soul, Kaede managed to find some comfort with Tsubasa, and eventually with Fumi. Unfortunately, betrayal ripped away Kaede’s short-lived happiness…
Just as Fumi makes up her mind to defeat her father Yanagi, the White Queen appears! Everyone is worried that the White Queen is trying to lure Fumi to the Casket, but Fumi wants to hear what she has to say. And perhaps for the first time, Fumi can confront her as an equal!
Inside the Casket, a shrine maiden tells Fumi that the White Snake of Despair is gone and that she will hand over the powers of the White Snake to Fumi. Meanwhile, Yanagi appears before the Casket, where the gradually vanishing White Cat fights him!
Yanagi uses K to open a Queen’s Vault in the city where Fumi and her friends live, so the Genbu, Byakko, and Seiryu clans form a united front to help the citizens under attack. Meanwhile, Fumi and Tsubasa watch over the spirit of Fumi’s mother Kaede in her final moments…
Fumi watches in horror as her father Yanagi turns her friends into bugs—and they, in turn, devour her beloved Kyutaro right before her eyes. In this heart-wrenching finale, does evil take all? Or will Fumi find a way to fight back even while enduring inconceivable despair?
