Because of their special abilities, mermaid Princess Mio and her allies are kidnapped to be sold to the highest bidder. Will the revolt she organizes amongst her fellow unhuman captives succeed? At least she finally gets to meet her fiancé, Prince Chika, for the first time. Or so she thinks…
Inspired by their success in Totodoto, Princess Mio and her allies continue their journey to Aquatia. There, Mio looks forward to meeting her fiancé, Prince Chika, again. But does her heart lie elsewhere? And will the real Prince Chika finally reveal himself?
Princess Mio and Prince Chika’s engagement is broken off by forces beyond their control. And as July wrestles with his feelings for Mio, the Dragon Elementsia reappears for the first time in centuries and spirits them both away to a kingdom where unhumans rule supreme. But power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely…
Mio and July learn that the Elementsia are inextricably linked to the centuries of conflict between humans and unhumans. To set things right, they attempt to overthrow Kuya the Sky Dragon. But when Mio’s beloved Yuri is mortally wounded, she must battle her own worst impulses. In this final volume, will compassion triumph over hate?
