With a few more months of experience at the receptionist desk under her belt, Nunnally is off to the Seleina Kingdom with her friends for a well-deserved beach vacation. Nothing—not even another surprise encounter with Rockmann—will get in the way of their plans. At least, that’s what Nunnally thought before being snatched up by a hulking fish thing and taken to the bottom of the ocean! Even worse, Rockmann swears that he’ll rescue her, and she hates owing that smug playboy anything! But as Nunnally thinks back to all the times he’s been there for her, perhaps the frigid air she’s kept between them is warming…

Be it across an ocean or just across town, Nunnally seems cursed to find Rockmann wherever she goes…What starts as a night out with Nikke and Benjamine going undercover as barmaids to snoop on Satanás’s gallivanting quickly goes off the rails when Rockmann and the knights arrive instead! Then preparations for the upcoming Walhelnus tournament put her and Rockmann on yet another collision course. When an accident forces fire and ice closer than they’ve ever been before, the result isn’t steam…but sparks?

An ominous gloom hangs over the continent given the continued rise in demon activity and a recent unnerving discovery…But, despite it all, the nations gather in Doran to kick off Walhelnus, and few are as excited as Nunnally. To her, Walhelnus means that igneous imbecile, Rockmann, will be too busy competing to bother her for a few blissful days while she works the counter.
