Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End

Upon touching the ancient monument of the Goddess, Frieren finds herself cast back in time to 53 years before the death of Himmel the Hero. Her old adventuring comrades don’t know she has come from the future, and Frieren realizes she must protect the secrecy of advancements in magic from their enemies. Here, the Demon King has not yet been defeated, and his minions are still powerful and determined to destroy Frieren!

After being reunited in the past with her old friends, the Party of Heroes, Frieren looks for a way to return to the future. But the Demon King’s minions want the knowledge Frieren possesses, and the powerful demon Grausam traps Frieren and Himmel in an illusion so beautiful they may never want to leave! Then a threat that’s been lurking in the shadows for decades rises once again…

At the behest of the Continental Magic Association, Frieren and her friends are in the Imperial capital to stop a plot to assassinate the great mage Serie. Caught in a web of intrigue, Frieren must contend with the Magic Special Forces on one side and a cabal of assassins known as the Shadow Warriors on the other. The hit is scheduled to take place at a grand ball, but before that happens the Shadow Warriors will make their move to take out Frieren in the streets of the city…
