To avoid being late for school on Vamola’s first day, Momo takes the mysterious kaiju girl on a shortcut through some off-limits ruins. But the protection spell they perform doesn’t work, and she runs into the slit-mouthed woman who resides there! The two narrowly escape, and it’s only later that Momo realizes the real danger they were in. So why is it that for Momo’s own safety, Seiko is now forbidding her from leaving her room after 10 p.m. for the next week?!
Momo struggles to counter a sudden attack by alien clones, but through a temporary truce with her sworn enemy, the alien Serpo, she is able to persevere. However, her troubles are far from over—it’s now after 10 p.m.! In order to avoid the slit-mouthed woman Reiko Kashima, who is still very much on the hunt for her, Momo and Serpo must hide out overnight in a manga cafe. And when Momo finally returns home in the morning, she finds her friends are gravely injured and being treated by none other than Mr. Shrimp!
A gravely injured Okarun wakes up to an out-of-body experience! And when he answers Momo’s phone, he’s sucked through the telephone wires to where Seiko and Turbo Granny are in the middle of a battle. Thankfully, Turbo Granny is able to teach Okarun a technique for returning to his body that will also help in the impending alien invasion. Elsewhere, Momo and the others are undergoing their own training, but when they return home on the predicted date of the invasion, they find it’s already begun!
It is revealed that Vamola, the girl found inside the kaiju suit, is actually a member of the once thriving Sumerian race from deep space! Unfortunately, her home world was attacked by the aliens presently targeting Earth, leaving her people scattered. She herself had been forced to plot her escape from the planet with a group of other women—including Banga, who found her as a child and raised her. Now, having learned of Vamola’s past, Momo and the others rise to action, but the aliens they face are a formidable enemy.
As Momo and the others fight desperately against the alien invaders, a recovering Okarun finally comes to and is able to join them. Unfortunately for him, it’s Tuesday, and that means one thing—the Evil Eye wants to fight! Thankfully, the invaders quickly capture the Evil Eye’s attention when they get in the way of his match, and with his help, the team begins to crush the enemy. But suddenly, Vamola’s suit is snatched by an octopus-shaped invader, landing the team in dire straits!
Now that the alien invasion has been thwarted, Okarun and the others start a research club with the goal of finding his missing family jewel. As they prepare to get their new club up and running, they can’t help but feel suspicious of their assigned advisor, Mr. Sanjome, of whom they strangely have no memory. Soon after, Okarun’s class rep reveals to him that ever since she picked up a gold ball, he’s looked like…a handsome vampire?!
Momo and Okarun task Turbo Granny with uncovering who picked up Okarun’s family jewel from the police station. She succeeds in infiltrating the station but is quickly thwarted by its computer system. Undaunted, the pair decide they’ll try again, but on their way home, they run into the Serpoian Rokuro, and it’s through his powers that they’re able to identify the culprit! But why is it that guy?
Momo has fallen into a cursed diorama that’s laid out like a giant game board. There, she meets a guy named Zuma—the same Zuma who stole Okarun’s family jewel! The two of them team up to retrieve said jewel after Zuma drops it in enemy territory. Now they’ve got to fight some frogs and a giant chef to get it back. Meanwhile, in the outside world, Okarun clashes with Zuma’s friends over how best to rescue them!
The diorama board game that Momo and Zuma have cleared to secure their release has turned out to be a cursed wicker trunk imprisoning an evil yokai called the Fairy-Tale Card. The yokai quickly possesses Zuma and draws ’Brella Boy’s full power, then uses him to attack Okarun and the others, seriously injuring Momo. Just as all seems lost, Rokuro appears on the scene…with the police?!
The Fairy-Tale Card notices Zuma’s wavering feelings and attempts to escape from the cursed trunk. Turbo Granny asks Rin, who is waiting on the outside, to use Mai’s power to get them out of the trunk, but Mai refuses! Instead, she transforms Rin into an idol and tells her she must save everyone through her song. Meanwhile, as the Fairy-Tale Card makes its escape, the trunk’s inner world begins to collapse!
Momo and the others have succeeded in escaping the cursed trunk and defeating the Fairy-Tale Card, but because Momo ate the sweets inside the trunk, she has shrunk to the size of a fairy! While her grandma looks for a way to return her to her previous size, Momo heads back to school in her new, tinier form. It’s there that she hits on the idea to research fairies in the library, and once there, she spots…a pygmy?!
Momo and the others successfully capture Yukishiro, the student controlling the pygmies, and get her to explain why she attacked them. However, Yukishiro can’t seem to remember the teacher who threatened her and forced her powers onto her. The group decides to enlist her help in tracking down this mysterious teacher. Meanwhile, as Seiko is consulting her occult friends about how to return Momo to normal, she’s attacked by a horde of…kung fu zombies?!
