Cheeky Brat

Okay, sooo…guess the cat’s out of the bag now. Everyone and their mother knows that I’m his girlfriend, thanks to his announcement to a TV reporter! Which means all the basketball guys have questions upon questions, and it’s very, very aaaawkwaaaard. Still, they don’t seem too upset, and we are going to Nationals, so that counts for something, right? Meanwhile, as time marches on and Naruse’s entrance exams come to a close, I’m starting to think that maybe—just maybe—we should celebrate it by, um…

I just remembered how amazing it is...to go to school and know you’ll be there. That. Was. So nerve-racking! I mean, I’m glad it happened, and it’s not as though I didn’t like it, but...pull yourself together, Yuki! You can survive a hot springs trip with your boyfriend! Wait, why the heck is the rest of the team here?! Yeah, I’m not sure I’m ready for a second round, but, well—this was supposed to be OUR romantic getaway, not a graduation trip. Or...is this his way of saying he’s over me?

Okay, while I’m very happy that Naruse and Hakamada-kun both made it into college and the basketball club, these boys will be the death of me! The team’s keeping us very busy, but my cheeky brat is being…a total brat about all the stuff he’s struggling with, not the adult I know he is. What exactly is his problem? On top of that, while my best girl friend Usami has the hots for Suwa-san, for some reason he just made a move on me instead?!

Okay, I can do this! One way or another, I will most definitely survive this training camp! It’s the first one Naruse and I have been to since we started dating, but that doesn’t mean it’s any different than usual. Anyway, I gotta focus on supporting Usami-san’s pursuit of Suwa-san since she’s my best girl friend and I really want her to be happy! And yeah, I’m a bit worried that my cheeky brat of a boyfriend will fight with Hakamada-kun all weekend, but they’ve both grown up a bit so…nothing’s gonna happen at training camp, right?

Who knows if what happens at training camp will stay at training camp...? After all, if Hakamada’s change of heart isn’t only a camp high and he’s actually serious about aggressively pursuing her from now on...It’s gonna be a whoooole lotta trouble! Especially since her boyfriend is his biggest rival, yet they all gotta play nice on the same basketball team...Has her cheeky brat of a boyfriend grown-up enough to handle it?!
